Thank you for visiting my website.<\/p>\r\n

I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy degree from The Hertie School<\/a> in Berlin while working as a Government Relations Consultant at The Akshaya Patra Foundation<\/a> in India. During my time in Berlin, I also had the opportunity to work as a working student for two German organizations, Aam Digital <\/a>and Good Vision<\/a>, for six months each.<\/p>\r\n

Prior to joining Hertie, I worked at APCO Worldwide <\/a>in New Delhi, a global communication consultancy firm. My role at APCO provided me with valuable experience in public affairs and policy, allowing me to collaborate with both developmental and non-developmental organizations. I worked closely with partners from various sectors, helping them navigate the legislative landscape in India. Additionally, I spearheaded campaigns focused on sustainable growth in the country. Working with a diverse range of clients at APCO strengthened my skills and enabled me to address a wide array of concerns.<\/p>\r\n

My career began as a lead parliament and policy analyst under the guidance of Mr. Tathagata Satpathy<\/a>, a Lok Sabha MP. This experience served as a launching pad for my career in public policy, as I gained extensive expertise in policy analysis, conceptualization, and drafting political briefs. I analyzed budget documents, parliamentary standing committee reports, and bill briefs.<\/p>\r\n

Driven by my desire to contribute to society, I volunteered for \u2018The Quint<\/a>\u2018 for a short period, where I participated in a campaign called \u2018Talking Stalking<\/a>.\u2019 The campaign aimed to make stalking a non-bailable offense in India.<\/p>\r\n

I also embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by co-founding \u201cCurry Patta by Madhu Jalan<\/a>,\u201d an eco-sustainable initiative that provides wholesome home-cooked food in the Delhi NCR region. This venture allowed us to address two important issues. Firstly, it contributed to job creation for individuals affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting migrant crisis. Secondly, it enabled us to deliver nourishing meals to individuals and families during a time when health is of utmost importance.<\/p>\r\n

I am deeply passionate about utilizing my research and communication skills to make a meaningful impact on society while continuously learning and growing both professionally and personally.<\/p>\r\n
